CollegeWishingWell.com does not manage investments or recommend any particular investment strategy. We provide a means for our registered users to receive monetary gifts from their friends and family. The purpose of those gifts is to fund college tuition and other associated expenses.

Can I hold my gifts in my CollegeWishingWell.com account?

CollegeWishingWell.com wants you to invest your money. We recommend that if you do not currently have one, you open a long term investment account with an investment management company. We list a few companies that could service you on our Resources webpage. We consider these companies to be reputable. But remember, you should only use an investment manager that you feel comfortable with.

Is it better to have CollegeWishingWell.com forward my gifts directly to my savings or investment account or should I have CollegeWishingWell.com send me a bank check through the mail?

In order to take full advantage of our services, we recommend that you have us electronically transfer your gifts to your long term savings or investment account. That way, your gifts flow right to their final destination and you don't have to do a thing.

Do my guests have access to my personal information?

Your guests only have access to: Notes you leave for them. Pictures and files you load into your CollegeWishingWell.com account to share with them. A guest can also add his/her contact information to your address book. The address book itself however, is not available to your guests. And of course, your guests can give monetary gifts to your beneficiaries.

What are the Gift Registry cards used for?

Gift registry cards can be printed from your "MyWebpage." This is the webpage opened when the registered user (the account sponsor) signs in to his/her account. The sponsor can print off gift registry cards to send out to friends and family with party invitations or announcements.

Is CollegeWishingWell.com affiliated with any 529 account?

No, 529 college savings accounts are operated by a state or educational institution. CollegeWishingWell.com is not affiliated with any state or educational institution.
